Welcome to Year 2

We are looking forward to getting to know you and working together so that we have an exciting and productive year.

Homework and reading books will be given out on a Friday and need to be returned on a Wednesday. Your child’s reading book will be linked to their phonics group. The reading diary will be a sheet of paper for you to sign and make any comments.

Your child will receive a TTRS log in which you will receive more information about throughout the year.

PE will take place on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Please wear a full school PE uniform to school on these days. For health and safety reasons no jewellery including earrings can be worn on PE days.

Please ensure that all items of clothing and other property are clearly marked with your child’s name.

Water bottles should be sent in daily. Snack is provided in Year 2, however if you would like to send any snack in it must be a piece of fruit.
